Will there be school on Tuesday, September 2nd?
We don't know if there will be school on Tuesday, but are still preparing for the start of a new year.  Please continue to check media sources for up to date information about teacher job action. We will update our website whenever we hear any news that needs to be shared with our school community.

If school does start on Tuesday, when do I send my child?
The first day of school looks different than other school days as students attend for only one hour, either in the morning or the afternoon. Students who attended Currie last year are asked to report back to last year's teacher and/or room at the following times:

9 a.m. to 10 a.m. - Division 9 (Mrs. Grant), Division 10 (Ms Augustine), Divison 11 (Mrs. Boljuncic/Mrs. Kazuta), Division 12 (Mrs. Meraw), Division 13 (Ms Boggaram), Division 14 (Mrs. Russo), Division 15 (Ms Foisy), Division 16 (Mrs. Shuto)

1 p.m. to 2 p.m. - Division 1 (Ms Medenwaldt), Division 2 (Mr. Avery), Division 3 (Mr. Thesiger), Division 4 (Mrs. Stahl), Division 5 (Mr. Campbell), Division 6 (Mrs. Mais), Division 7 (Mrs. Espenant), Division 8 (Mrs. McGregor)

Primary (grade 1, 2 and 3) students who are NEW to Currie are asked to report to the school library from 9 to 10 a.m.  Intermediate students (grade 4, 5 6 and 7) who are NEW to Currie are asked to report to the school library from 1 to 2 p.m.

Our kindergarten students have their own schedule for the first two weeks of school.  Please open the PDF file below if your child is in kindergarten to find out what time you need to bring your child to school - call the school at 604-668-6440 if you don't know if your child is in Group A or Group B.
