Hello General Currie Families!

What a wonderful first week back from Winter Break! Students came back with many stories from their breaks and re-connected with friends and staff. This week, students welcomed our new Principal, Mrs. Chau, with much care and kindness, saying hello with a warm smile whenever they saw Mrs. Chau. We are proud of our Currie students for showing everyday what Currie Cares means. We are very excited for the months ahead as we continue to grow as a community.

We wanted to share an update with families that today’s recess went very well, amidst the severe cold weather. As an option, we had a “warming centre” opened in the gym, where students could watch educational videos or have a quiet activity with friends. Some students chose to play outside while others chose to be in the “warming centre”. We will continue with this plan at lunch time.
