Dear General Currie Families,

We were pleased to see so many parents and family members join us for our Remembrance Day assembly this morning.  We are grateful for the time we spent together today in reflection and remembrance for those who have sacrificed so much.  We also took time to think of those who are in the throes of conflict right now.   We will not give up hope and will continue to work together for Peace for all peoples throughout the world. It starts with each of us, right here at General Currie, where we strive to Care for each other, and for this place.

We hope you will take time as a family tomorrow on Remembrance Day to reflect, share stories and honour those who have given so much.

We remind you that Monday is a Statutory Day.  There is no school.

We hope to see many of you in the gym at our first Movie event on Thursday, November 16th.    *Please pay close attention to the criteria for student participation and supervision.  Please bring signed permission form for entry.  The movie, Elemental, starts at 3 pm.
